Easter Egg Hunt For The Visually Impaired

A new event was held on Staten Island to make sure children with disabilities aren’t excluded from holiday festivities.

The first Beeping Easter Egg Hunt in New York City took place Thursday at the Common Cafe in Bloomfield. It was hosted by the Non-profit City Access New York which tries to promote inclusion for the disabled.

The event allowed children with visual and sensory impairments the ability to search for eggs.
